UAAAA announces winners of 2008-09 Alumni Scholarships
Six students receive $1,000 each to help fund their education
The UAA Alumni Association (UAAAA) is excited to announce the winners of the 2008-09 Alumni Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded annually to six students, one from each of UAA’s schools and colleges.

The Alumni Scholarships are made possible by the generosity of alumni who contribute each year through the UAA Annual Fund, combined with earnings from the Alumni Permanent Scholarship Endowment. This is just one way that the Alumni Association is giving back to UAA in support of today’s students.

The UAA Alumni Association is seeking Volleyball Alumni to play in an exhibition game on Saturday, August 23rd as part of the annual Campus Kick-Off celebration. Campus Kick-Off is a day full of events and activities for new and returning students and their families which include a campus fair in the Quad, entertainment during the afternoon and in the evening, culminating with the annual late night Fred Meyer shopping spree just for UAA students. The Volleyball Exhibition will take place at 9:00 p.m. after the comedy show and before the Fred Meyer shopping night on the UAA campus.
